This component is located within the isolation valve section. Isolation valves are situated beneath the boiler and are used to isolate the gas and water supplies to the appliance. This allows engineers to safely carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs without draining the entire heating system. In the event of a fault or leak, the valves can also be used to shut off the supply to the boiler.
